What is an Elf?

Elf.- Nature spirits that inhabit the astral plane; and that, together with fairies and elves, such an important role they play in the folklore of all nations; lovely and irresponsible children of Nature,  coldly relegated by science to old women and nurses, but that the most conspicuous sages of the coming times will return to be placed in their proper place in the natural order. Now only poets and occultists believe in these tiny beings;  the first, by the intuition of his genius, and the second, by the vision of his trained inner sense.(A. What is an Elf

  –The Elfos (Elves, in English; Elfen, in German) are a kind of elves, geniuses or aerial spirits, tiny, in human form, beautiful and graceful face, very nature lovers and generally endowed with a generous, compassionate and beneficial character. (See: Faust, 2nd. Part, scene I, Ariel's song). Some of them are pleased to do pranks and tricks, and even the There is a vindictive and evil character. They tend to frequent the lonely places, and they are often confused with the silfos.
